Note: if all orders are not being received by the kitchen, something larger is at play and this article won't apply.
If there are situations where a few employees are having issues with orders being sent to the Kitchen, but otherwise there isn't a definitive pattern, here is what you can do:
ISSUE - This is happening for hourly staff that use "Fire Items Now" button to fire some things.... then use the "Send" button other times to fire items to the kitchen.

FIX - please have the impacted employee try a night of service without using "Fire Items Now". Instead, have them do the following:
- "Begin Hold Transaction" then start ringing in all the items. They will have have an H next to the item.
- Use "Hold/Unhold" and "Send" to fire the items individually instead of Fire Items Now.
FIX #2 - if they strongly prefer using "Fire Items Now" that can also work. BUT that means EVERY ITEM needs to be sent that way. The issue happens when there is mixed use.
IT Support Note: See ticket 15795 for example, where only 2 servers were sometimes impacted.
